Cole’s senior session was an absolute blast. His retro styling and drum, added some fun as we worked around the old military base of Battery Russell. The fact that he had the drum caused several other people visiting the ruins to whisper comments like “who is that?” or “get a photo of him, he might be famous”.

There’s plenty of amazing history at this location. Not a bad match for Cole, who is looking to major in History / Education.

I absolutely love how the colors and textures of this location make amazing backgrounds with depth and texture.

The old fireplace made a great spot for a cool pose and edgy lighting.

After photographing the final sequence of Cole drumming, where a lot of creative lighting was used to create the effect, I was asked by another tourist if we were shooting a music video. I’d say that’s a success for making your senior session more than just “getting some photos taken”. Rock on Cole, because you sure rocked your session.
